Rose Ritual, Rose Water and Rose Oil Meditation & Chakra Practice
The Akita Rose Experience: Self-Observation Through Rose Water and Rose Oil Before Your Ritual
At Akita, we invite you to a ritual experience that brings together the ancient traditions of the rose with modern mindfulness practices.
This is not a medical claim. The purpose is to observe and document your personal experience through the combination of scent, breath, attention, and intention.
Some users report feeling calmer, more open, more balanced, and more at ease after rose-based rituals. These experiences vary from person to person and are entirely subjective.
Why Is the Rose Associated with Meditation and Emotional Awareness?
The olfactory system is directly connected to the brain’s limbic system, which plays a key role in emotion, memory, and internal state processing.
Because of this, rose scent may:
Trigger emotional memories
Support transition into meditation
Increase breath awareness
Encourage mental calmness
Support a sense of physical relaxation
Scientific studies suggest that aromatherapy with Rosa damascena (Damask rose) may be associated with stress perception and sleep quality improvements in some individuals. However, these effects are personal and not universal.

Rose and the Heart Chakra Practice
In traditional yoga and meditation systems, the rose is associated with the Heart Chakra (Anahata).
Symbolically, the Heart Chakra is connected with:
Love
Compassion
Forgiveness
Emotional openness
Inner balance
From a scientific perspective, chakras are not anatomically verified structures. However, when used as focal points in meditation, they may help direct attention and increase emotional awareness.
AKITA ROSE RITUAL: STEP-BY-STEP PRACTICE
This ritual has two stages:
Rose water (distillate) + Rose oil
The goal is to observe and document two different experiences.
1. PRE-RITUAL PREPARATION (FOR BOTH DAYS)
Choose a quiet space.
Turn off or silence your phone.
Sit down and take 3 deep breaths.
Set your intention:
“Today, I am only observing.”
2. ROSE WATER (DISTILLATE) RITUAL
Application
Akita Rose Water (distillate) is water-based and suitable for daily use.
With eyes open or closed:
Lightly mist your face
Neck
Back of the neck
Chest and heart area
Your entire aura space
Then take 3 slow breaths.
Observation
Ask yourself:
What do I feel in my body right now?
Has my breathing changed?
Do I feel any freshness in my face or chest?
Has my mind become calmer?
Is there any emotional shift?
3. ROSE OIL RITUAL
Rose oil is highly concentrated and potent.
Application (Safe Use)
Start by gently inhaling directly from the bottle.
Each time, apply a very small amount to different areas:
Wrists
Under the nose (very lightly)
Palms
Around the navel area
On clothing (so the scent reaches the nose)
After each application, take 3 breaths.
Observation
Ask yourself:
What does the scent make me feel?
Is it softer or more intense?
Does my body respond in any way?
Do my emotions shift?
Is there mental clarity or intensity?
4. COMPARISON PRACTICE
At the end of two separate days, write down:
What did rose water make me feel?
What did rose oil make me feel?
Which one feels more refreshing?
Which one feels more intense?
Which one supports meditation better?
Which one is more suitable for daily use?
Important:
There are no right or wrong answers. This is a completely personal experience.
5. “ENERGY” AND BODY AWARENESS
In meditation and yoga literature, “energy” generally refers to:
Deepening of breath
Mental calmness
Emotional openness
Physical relaxation
Inner balance
Even small changes are meaningful:
Relaxed shoulders
Slower breathing
Feeling of lightness
Emotional ease
6. AKITA RITUAL SUGGESTIONS
With rose water:
Morning intention setting
Pre-meditation preparation
Midday awareness break
Evening relaxation ritual
With rose oil:
Deep meditation
Breathwork sessions
Heart-centered awareness
Intensive inner observation
7. SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH US
At Akita, your observation is valuable.
Please write your experience:
What did rose water make you feel?
What impression did rose oil leave?
Which one felt more suitable for you?
What did you notice during the ritual?
If you had to describe it in one word, what would it be?

This ritual is designed to help you observe your own inner experience.
Your feelings are the most valuable outcome of this practice.
Discover the Energy of Rose: Rose Water or Rose Oil – Which One Feels Better for You?
Roses have been used for centuries as a symbol of love, emotional healing, and spiritual connection. In modern wellness practices, rose is not only appreciated for its fragrance but also for its ability to support mindfulness, meditation, and heart-centered awareness.
At Akita, we invite you to explore two distinct expressions of rose: Akita Rose Distillate (Rose Water) and Akita Rose Oil. While both come from the same flower, their energetic experience and usage are very different.
🌹 Rose Water: Light, Fresh, and Emotionally Soothing
Akita Rose Distillate is the pure water phase obtained during the distillation of fresh roses. It carries a gentle, soft, and refreshing energy.
How it is used:
Light facial mist before meditation
Sprayed over the heart area to create emotional openness
Used during breathwork or yoga sessions
Applied throughout the day for a calming effect
What you may feel:
Emotional lightness
A sense of freshness and clarity
Easier transition into meditation
Gentle heart-opening awareness
Rose water is ideal for daily rituals and for those who prefer a subtle, continuous connection with the energy of rose.
🌹 Rose Oil: Deep, Intense, and Transformational
Akita Rose Oil represents the concentrated aromatic essence of the rose. It is more intense, grounding, and deeply emotional in its effect.
How it is used:
Applied in very small amounts (diluted if necessary) for aromatherapy
Used in deep meditation or heart chakra practices
Inhaled consciously during grounding exercises
Integrated into intentional spiritual rituals
What you may feel:
Deep emotional release
Strong heart-centered awareness
A sense of grounding and inner stillness
Intensified meditative focus
Rose oil is best suited for deeper inner work and intentional spiritual practice.
🌿 The Akita Rose Ritual: A Personal Experiment
We encourage you to experience both products separately and observe your own response.
On one day, use Akita Rose Distillate before meditation.
On another day, use Akita Rose Oil in a mindful ritual setting.
Notice how your body, breath, and emotions respond differently.
Ask yourself:
Which one helps me relax more easily?
Which one deepens my meditation?
Which one feels more aligned with my emotional state?
💗 Experience the Difference Yourself
True understanding comes from experience, not explanation. The energy of rose is not the same in every form — and your personal response is the most important guide.
We invite you to explore both products and discover your own connection with rose.
