Rosa Damascena Flower Distillate is the distillation product obtained from Rosa damascena flower petals via long-duration steam distillation without separation of the essential oil fraction.
Unlike conventional rose water (hydrosol), this unseparated distillate retains volatile oil-associated constituents, resulting in a distinct chemical profile confirmed by GC-MS analyses.
Akita has produced this material since 2003 and has formally submitted an INCI application to ensure accurate and transparent nomenclature within the cosmetic and personal care industry.
