F.Ç. Karafakı and L. Karafakı have cited our website in their study titled "Rose as a Medicinal Plant." We are proud to see them utilize our website as a reference in their scientific publication. Their study is as follows:
Rosa damascena, commonly known as Damask rose, Isparta Rose, Pink Oil Rose, Oil Rose, Gum Rose, and Damascus Rose, is a perennial plant with pink flowers, semi-double petals, strong fragrance, thorny stems, and high winter resistance. Rosa damascena plants typically grow between 1.5 to 3 meters in height. The stem is cylindrical, hollow, dark brown, highly branched, and surrounded by numerous large and small stiff thorns. The leaves are soft-textured, covered with fine hairs, arranged alternately, stalked, and stipulate (with ear-shaped appendages), usually composed of 5-7 leaflets (Source: Filiz ÇETİNKAYA KARAFAKI, Tıbbi Bir Bitki Olarak Gül ).
